EVENT: Festival of Fatherhood – Monday 21st December
This has been a transformational year for fatherhood as we’ve seen massive changes to how we work, the dads’ role in pregnancy/labour and how we raise our children in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd. There is lots to celebrate, many lessons to learn and a lot to reflect on as we move into 2021.
Join us on Monday 21st December for The Festival of Fatherhood 2020!
We’ll be celebrating the success of our crowdfunder, meeting some new people, dancing to some music – all while covering the big fatherhood topics of the year, including:
- Support for new dads and their role in pregnancy/labour through the pandemic
- Dads and mental health
- Dads, work, care-giving and gender equality
- Anti-racism in parenting
- Building communities
This event will be a celebration and reflection of dads in 2020. Expect to hear from some guest speakers, meet some interesting new people in breakout groups and take part in some interesting discussions as we all gather to share thoughts on how we collectively move into 2021 to make the world a better place for mothers, fathers, families and children.
This is an event for EVERYONE, all welcome.
It’s free, register here.
