Arsenal in the Community x MusicFootballFatherhood presents: ‘Extra Time’ a football themed fatherhood conversation for dads
Date: Sunday 27th November 2022
Location: The Emirates Stadium
MusicFootballFatherhood and the Arsenal in the Community are partnering on a very special event to host a football themed fatherhood conversation for dads.
Following our successful events with QPR FC and Brentford FC, as part of our wider set of activities to support mental health we will be bringing dads together as a supportive group to have discussions around fatherhood, support each other and share our experiences and perspectives. We’ll be focusing on mental health and wellbeing, work/life balance and thinking about what it means to be a dad in 2022.
We know that dads don’t often, if ever, get the opportunity to be part of something like this. But we know how important connection is and we want to create a space for men to feel inspired and ready to carry on doing their best for their families and for themselves.
What makes the Extra Time event so special is that it takes place in a venue that’s poignant to a lot of dads – a football stadium! The event will be hosted the Emirates Stadium and include discussions, gams and a stadium tour.
You’ll hear from some guest speakers and have the opportunity to take part in some pair and whole group discussions. Extra Time is a really inclusive event where everyone gets to input. The event will even include an Arsenal themed quiz to win a very special signed DAD book!
THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR DADS. NO CHILDREN PLEASE.
The event is free but places are limited. Please only register if you can definitely attend. To register, please complete the form here.
