EVENT: Safeguarding our children (Mon 28th March, 8.15pm)
Event Timing: Monday 28th March | 8.15pm-9.45pm | Zoom
Following the harrowing incident with the strip search of Child Q in Hackney, MusicFootballFatherhood are hosting an event to discuss how we can safeguard our children.
We will be hearing from a panel of safeguarding experts who will give practical tips and tools for:
• how to manage your child’s school, expectations you should have from your child’s school, the basics of safeguarding and how to build a good open relationship with your child’s school
• how to talk to your children about safety, boundaries and speaking up.
After the panel discussion there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
The event is open to everybody but the conversation will be directly addressing the mistreatment of black children in schools and helping to support the parents of black children.
The event will start promptly at 8.15pm and finish by 9.45pm.
