EVENT: Dads Do Hair (Sat 28 May)
Ever felt like you need to up your hairdressing game? Ever sent your kid to school with a less than unacceptable hairstyle? Well you have come to the right place.
Dads Do Hair is a fun event, for dads, bought to you by MusicFootballFatherhood and Wellspring Church in Watford. The dads that attend will leave equipped with the powers to send their children off to school in the morning with a smile on their face due to their new found hairdressing skills.
The event will include a hair workshop by professional hairdressers, where they will teach the basics, like a bob, and then take us through some more difficult styles, like braids. This will be followed by a reading from the DAD book and group and breakout conversations about dad’s roles, expectations, gender based parenting and masculinity.
The event will be filmed for TV so please only sign up if you are comfortable with being on BBC One.
